It is now time to gather again and celebrate the 71st Annual Governor’s Industrial Safety and Health Conference. We’re looking forward to bringing everyone together safely for the largest workplace safety event in the state September 27-29, 2022, at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center.
Join us as we recognize the Life Saving Award recipients for their heroic lifesaving efforts. Later during the lunch hour you can watch the Pole Top rescue competition in the Tollefson Plaza .
We have a great lineup of sessions and speakers covering a wide variety of topics this year to help you improve your safety skills and leadership . If you did not catch Dr. Charlie Cartwright last year, we’ve brought him back for his inspirational message that will help inspire that safety passion within you and your team. We will open our second day of the conference with a keynote session from Rick Gleason. Rick will speak on-100 Years of Workers Compensation and Beyond.
As always, we have a full day pre-conference training session on Tuesday September 27 offered for an additional fee. This pre-conference workshop is titled, Basic Investigation Principles: Digging Into The Root Causes, taught by Rocco Meraglia of MEM HSE & Emergency Service LTD.
In addition to the 50+ in person sessions, we will offering six pre-recorded sessions available on demand September 30th– October 31st 2022. This bundle of sessions is included in conference registration or may be purchased separately.
