The Governor’s Industrial Safety & Health Conference is one of the largest events of its kind in the great northwest. This year the conference will look different but will still bring together leading industry experts to deliver a program of cutting-edge education, share best practices, and networking online Sept. 22 – 25.

We know many of you are performing the most essential functions at this time and we’re grateful for the important work you are preforming to keep Washington workers safe in these challenging times. That’s why we’re offering most sessions live and on demand for viewing later, up to 30 days after the event.

We’re offering traditional sessions on safety culture, creating effective safety presentations and near miss reporting. Given the current state of the pandemic we’ve added many COVID-19 related topics and interactive discussions regarding operating safely and sharing best practices as we work through these times together at a safe distance.

The Keynote Jessica Rector will share her mission to “Transform Lives”. Jessica uses her company’s research to help organizations, leaders, and teams to fire up their thinking and extinguish burnout. With 79% of the workforce burned out and even more stressed out, it’s the perfect time to extinguish this epidemic. See her presentation “How to Prevent, Break Through, and Extinguish Burnout” just after the opening remarks on Tuesday Sept. 22nd.

We’ll be hosting a Virtual Exhibit Hall this year as well. Be sure to visit every booth and live chat with exhibitors who are eager to connect with you. It will look different than being in a expo hall in person, but we’re all in this together and looking forward to bringing people together to interact in a different, virtual way.

For those seeking a deep dive, we’re hosting two additional pre-conference workshops on Monday Sept. 21st. Climate Change and Worker Health and Telecommunications Competent Person-Rule Overview are all day sessions and require live attendance and participation. Space is limited and additional fees apply.
