The 19th Annual Agriculture Safety Days were held at the Yakima Convention Center on February 1st, 2023, and then again on February 22nd in Wenatchee. We were so happy to be back in person for these events!
The Agriculture planning committee and volunteers were able to bring together truly meaningful events that provided valuable sessions on a variety of agriculture safety subjects.
Both locations had similar lineups with 32 classes presented with both English and Spanish options for the agriculture community of owners, safety professionals, and labor. A separate pre-conference workshop on WPS Pesticide Handler Training was held in Wenatchee on the 21st of February for Spanish-speaking attendees.
A big thank you to Radio KDNA for their help in promoting these events. And also for being on hand at the Yakima event conducting insightful interviews of both speakers and attendees.
