It is time to gather again and celebrate the 70th Annual Governor’s Industrial Safety & Health Conference. The pandemic did not stop the event last year- we just pivoted to an online virtual event. We’re looking forward to bringing everyone together once again for the largest safety event in the State!

The conference is returning the Spokane Convention Center September 28-30, 2021. A Selection of pre-recorded sessions will be available online during October.

We’re once again offering some traditional sessions on safety rules, best practices and culture, while also focused on moving forward with the information, tools and new lessons learned since we last gathered in 2019. With over 60 sessions to choose from there are many opportunities to gain new knowledge and insight.

Keynote Speaker, Dr. Charlie Cartwright – The Company Culture Doctor, will open the event with a message on the “Heart of Safety”. He is helping leaders achieve great results by tapping into the inherent greatness of their people.

Join us at the Live Exhibit Hall. Be sure to visit every booth, the exhibitors are eager to see you face to face once again and show off their newest tools, technologies and services.

Our partners in safety at the University of Washington are hosting a pre-conference session this year on “Occupational Deaths of Despair: Scope of the Problem and Strategies for Prevention”. This session will be presented using a Zoom Webinar and accessible from your home or office or at the convention center. A UW facilitator will be on site in a classroom to answer any questions- a great opportunity to gather, network and experience the session together. Classroom space is limited and additional fees apply for the pre-conference session.

For those unable to attend in person, or that want access to more sessions than available at the live conference, we will offer a library of recorded sessions. These sessions will include a few topics that will be offered at the live conference, and some will be exclusive to the online virtual package.  Additional fees apply for access to the recorded sessions and will be available on demand October 1 -31, 2021.
