Congratulations Cynthia Gross and Surafel Muche – The winners of the 2023 Construction Safety Scholarship! Every year the Governor’s Industrial Safety & Health Advisory Board’s CSD Planning Committee provides a $1,250 scholarship to assist eligible students in furthering their education occupational safety and health and/or general construction safety.
“Having worked in the safety industry for a period of time, this scholarship will help to enhance my career trajectory through the Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Risk, Insurance, and Safety Management at CWU. I enjoy analyzing and assessing situations and am good at recognizing risks. I care about personal injury and am concerned about unnecessary property losses.
