All personal information submitted for registration to events held by the Governor’s Industrial Safety and Health Advisory Board are processed through Cvent,  a 3rd party software platform that provides event registration services.

Part II.  Credit Card Data Security

All credit card transactions processed through our website or the Cvent registration platform can be completed with confidence. We have partnered with Stripe, a leading payment processor, to accept credit cards payments safely and securely for our customers.

The company adheres to strict industry standards for payment processing, including:

  • Industry leading encryption hardware and software methods and security protocols to protect customer information.

Part III.  Information Collection and Usage

Governor’s Industrial Safety & Health Advisory Board collects information through our web site at several points.  All web pages at gishab.org are protected with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. As with any web site, site management and system administrative information can be collected each time you visit, including:

  • The date and time you visited;
  • The name of the domain you used to access the Internet (such as companyxxx.com, aol.com, universityxxx.edu, etc.) and the IP address from which you access our Site;
  • The pages you visited;
  • The type of browser and operating system used to access our Site;

This information is used for statistical purposes and to help us make our Site more useful — to learn about the number of users to our Site, which information is most useful to them, and the types of technology our users employ.

Users may also have their personal information removed from our mailing list database by requesting in writing to the address below or via e-mail that their information be either updated or removed. Such requests will be dealt with within 30 days and a notification of such sent to the requestor.
