Do you know a workplace hero who went above their job duties, jumped into action during an emergency and performed “hands-on lifesaving” action?
Nominate them for a Lifesaving Award.
Each year the Governor’s Industrial Safety & Health Advisory Board (GISHAB) recognizes workers in Washington who saved a life while on the job. The nomination period is now open through June 30, 2022 for lifesaving actions that occurred between June 1, 2021 and May 31, 2022. See the Lifesaving Award Guidelines for more details.
Members of GISHAB will review nominations in August. Selected recipients will be notified of their recognition in late August. Selected award recipients will be recognized during the 71st Annual Governor’s Safety & Health Conference, September 28, 2022 at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center.
