Construction Safety Scholarship Applications Being Accepted Through February 2022
The Governor’s Industrial Safety & Health Advisory Board’s Construction Safety Day Planning Committee awards a scholarship each year, to assist an eligible student in furthering their education in construction safety and/or occupational safety and health.

Applications are being accepted February 1-28, 2022.  

To be considered, an applicant must meet one of three requirements:
• Currently pursuing a career in safety and intending to use scholarship for safety educational purposes i.e. OSHA 500 series courses.
• A student in good standing in the final year of high school and enrolled to a trade school, apprenticeship, community college, or university.
• Currently enrolled in a college, university or technical college, with a construction or occupational safety and health focus.
The Committee will be reviewing all applications after the Feb. 28, 2022 deadline. The scholarship announcement will be presented virtually at the 14th Annual Construction Safety Day, online March 30, 2022. The scholarship winner must provide photos and sign consent to share the presentation with the public.
